Langkawi- known as "Tropical Paradise". It is inspired by the island's clear water, beautiful beaches and mysterious jungles. Langkawi is always the best place to visit in Malaysia if you are longing for beaches and paradise of trees.

How to get to Langkawi:

There are a lot of ways to get to Langkawi- fly, bus or take a ferry. But what is the best way to go to Langkawi from Singapore?

This is what my friends and I did. Since we only have 4 days vacation and we want to completely explore Langkawi (with cheap fare), we decided to travel by bus going to Kuala Lumpur for 6 hours. We spent the night sleeping on the bus so we could save time. From Kuala Lumpur, we took plane to Langkawi for an hour. We left Singapore at 10:30pm and we reached Kuala Lumpur around 5am- just in time for our 11am flight to Langkawi. There are a lot of cheap flights to Langkawi. Airasia is one of the airlines that offers cheap flights to different parts of Malaysia.

We stayed at Typsy Gypsy Hostel. Hippie themed hostel and very affordable.
